The influence of the addition of graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) on the intra/inter – molecular segmental motions of poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol) (EVOH) was assessed by means of dielectric thermal analysis (DETA). The relaxation spectra were studied in terms of the dielectric permittivity (ε′) and the dielectric loss tangent (tan δ) at wide ranges of frequency (from 10−2 to 107 Hz) and temperature (from -150 to 140 °C). Two relaxation zones were disthinguished. Economic Support during the COVID Crisis. Quantitative Easing and Lending Support Schemes in the UK

Abstract We investigate how UK bank business lending responded to the simultaneous use of quantitative easing, leverage ratio capital requirements, and government COVID lending support schemes. We find no evidence that the Brexit wave increased lending to nonfinancial businesses, compared to the previous waves, except for QE-banks subject to the UK leverage ratio, suggesting that the ratio incentivised QE-banks to lend to businesses. The government schemes helped expand lending especially to SMEs post the COVID wave, indicating that complementing QE with other credit easing programmes can reinforce its impact on lending to the real economy. LTC and socio-economic deprivation of families are two relevant issues in international debate. The economic or time investment made by families in caregiving has an impact on the socio-economic status of family members in terms of economic means and social inclusion. This study analyzes the practices that are supported by home LTC, examining their characteristics, identifying their strengths, weaknesses, drivers, and barriers, as well as identifying social innovation aspects. The study provides a qualitative interpretative comparison of 22 practices from eight countries, representing the four LTC care models existing in Europe.
